The food is deeply satisfying with a touch of spice. It’s essentially Louisiana cuisine, with a heavy emphasis on beans, rich flavorful sauces, and of course, rice. There are etouffees, gumbos, jambalayas, red beans and rice, in various combinations.
Although most people will be content with the level of spiciness and hotness, Yats does offers an extensive selection of hot sauces and spice additions. From the predictable Cajun seasoning and hot sauces, to the unexpected Thai chili paste. It’s a spice fan’s heaven-on-earth.
Dessert? Try the wicked, homemade peanut butter cream pie.
